Our way back to Georgia

GiGi, Brandon, Brooke, Brody, Ellie, and Christi (plus all of the luggage) in a honda civic for a 5 hour drive home! Need I say more?

Napping on the beach

We went on a yacht one day and the beach the rest of the days. Wherever we were, Brody found a place to nap!

First trip to the beach

Brody's first trip to the beach was amazing! The weather was perfect and so was Brody! He loved the beach... We would spend all day at the beach and he would love playing under the umbrella- He would even take his afternoon naps out on the beach! We had such a great time!

Brody was up at 5:30 a.m. so I brought him in bed with us. Although it was early, I had to take some pictures of him because he looked so darn cute!!!

Good morning Brody!

Every time I walk in Brody's room to get him after his nap he's always peeking over the side of the crib. It's the sweetest thing and it makes my heart melt every time!!

Ellie's bath

Brody's new pool

Gigi bought Brody a baby pool! We set it up outside the apartment and played in it today! It was so nice because we didn't have to walk all the way to the pool. (It's not too far but when your carrying all the baby stuff it seems like a long walk!) Ellie got to play with us too! She loved sun bathing in the grass while we played in the pool!

I decided to get out some bath toys for Brody to play with tonight during his bath... He LOVED it!!!!

6 months old

Brody is 6 months old! He weighed 19 lbs 3 oz and 28 inches long at his 6 month appointment. He's in the 80th percentile for weight and 90th for height. He's a big boy! He's sitting up really well on his own now and just got his first tooth!!!

4th of July weekend

We spent the 4th of July in Peachtree City. We had a great time and we loved seeing Uncle Chad!!! Here are a couple of pictures of us at the pool, parade, and barbecue before the fireworks show. Brody did not watch the fireworks but he did stay up late- 7:45!! Gigi offered to stay at home with him while he slept so Brandon and I could watch the fireworks- Gigi is the best!!
